The ACIP unanimously voted this week to recommend a third dose of Mumps containing vaccine for those in settings where risk is greater, such as college students and those on sports teams. The 6,000 Mumps cases in the US last year occurred in a primarily well vaccinated population and prompted this booster dose recommendation. Read more
