During next week’s ACIP meeting, recommendations will be decided on for two particularly important vaccines with unfortunately low immunization completion rates for both males and females, Meningitis ( groups A, C, Y, W-135 ) and HPV! Another vaccine relevant to this patient population to be discussed is the Meningitis B vaccine ( MenB ). Consider having a staff member contact via phone and/or e-mail those patients who are unvaccinated or incompletely vaccinated for these vaccine preventable diseases.
Modern high school & college students are very busy, Summer is a opportune time to get them in your office! You have provided their medical care up until today, make sure they’re completely covered before they’re packed up and on their way!
