The Great Influenza The Story of the Deadliest Pandemic in History is an eye opening read about a disease that should probably be much more revered by the general public than it presently is. As the 2016-1017 influenza season begins along with efforts to prevent the flu with Influenza vaccination programs, this story may be seen as inspiration for providers and/or reluctant patients. Current ACIP CDC Influenza Immunization recommendations should shed additional support for healthcare professionals’ proactive disease prevention efforts.
