A recent study in Pediatrics shared how an urban health system reached human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination rates at nearly 90% for teens, both male and female!
To be specific, HPV vaccination rates were an impressive 89.8% for girls and 89.3% in boys. How’d they achieve these rates? By using as one of their strategies something referred to as “bundling”. “Bundling” HPV vaccine at the time other teen vaccines are administered ie. MCV4 and Tdap and on each office visit offering needed vaccines.
