A study by Yale School of Public Health, published in the journal Qualitative Health Research reports that only 42% of US adolescent females and 28% of adolescent males have completed the HPV vaccine regimen verses 70% of adolescent females in Australia, Denmark and England. Research associates suggest that US healthcare providers are key to communicating HPV vaccination importance and improving immunization rates in the US.
